Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. Their duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.

Job Requirements:
1. Perform manufacturing engineering assignments of various degrees of product complexity. Evaluate manufacturing processes. Study production and machine/test fixtures/tooling requirements.
2. Provide support to the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of manufacturing operations. Prepare plan, process and assembly instructions, manufacturing labor standard.
3. Control and document Manufacturing Process Instructions, Train operators on new instructions and processes. 
4. Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency. Optimize assembly layouts, production lines and machine operations. Complete and evaluate test and production data, prepare technical analysis, recommend manufacturing methods to meet quality objectives.
5. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure manufacturing process and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
6. Project management skills and problem-solving ability.
7. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality systems. Experience with 5S and Lean process improvements.
8. Three + years of experience in manufacturing or quality environment. Solid understanding of New Production Introduction.
9. Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
10. Ability to interact with all levels with good communication skills.
11. Expertise in vacuum systems based is a plus
12. Cabling, PCB, soldering experience is a plus
